World Tai Chi and Qigong Day Saturday April 27 at Shaw Nature Reserve
World Tai Chi And Qigong Day
Saturday, April 27th, 2019 9:45 - 11:00 AM
Shaw Nature Reserve Gray Summit, Mo.
In every time zone across the globe, people begin to do Tai Chi and Qigong on this special day at 10 AM. This is done in the spirit of love and healing, creating a flow of qi around the earth. Join us and connect with others from over 80 nations in this worldwide event.
You do not have to know how to do Tai Chi or Qigong to participate. All are welcome!
There will be a variety of teachers present to instruct us in how to use Tai Chi and Qigong to improve our health, balance and sense of wellbeing.
Shaw Nature Reserve is located right off of Highway 44 and the Gray Summit exit. There is a $5 fee to enter the Reserve ($3 if you are a Senior) and no charge if you are a member of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
After checking in, drive down the hill, the lake will be on your left. Parking will be at the bottom of the hill on your right. We will be across from parking at the lake.
Bring a lawn chair if you think you might want one. If there is rain, we’ll meet at the pavilion behind the Bascomb House. If it is storming, stay home and practice!
